Heating up with the return of the...

Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich

Who's ready for the return of the beloved Grilled Spicy menu item?! This sandwich is marinated with a blend of peppers, served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun with colby jack cheese, green leaf lettuce and tomato. This also means we will welcome back the cilantro lime sauce!

This sandwich will return on September 12th and the promotion period will extend to November 12th.

Autumn Spice and everything nice...

Autumn Spice Milkshake Rollout!

Combined with warm fall flavors like cinnamon as well as crunchy bits of brown sugar spice cookies...what's not to love?

The Autumn Spice Milkshake will officially roll out on September 12th, however Chick-fil-A One Signature Members in the Houston Market will receive early access to the new milkshake through the app. We will not advertise the shake during these couple days, and will only ring shakes up for those with the early access opportunity! If you have any questions, please direct them to your leaders.

September's Competition is...

Bacon us crazy!

We will be running an upselling competition for the month of September! Whoever's team upsells the most bacon, gets a $50 giftcard each! Front-of-House will be divided between 8 teams. To account for the bacon you sell, make sure you're ringing up your team number through the "local items" button.

Here are some talking points to get ahead in the competition:

- "Would you like to add Bacon to that sandwich?"

- "Bacon goes really great with the spicy sandwich. Would you like to add it onto your sandwich?"

- "Would you like a side of bacon for your Mac & Cheese?"

By giving suggestions, upselling will come naturally. Be genuine and personal, and before you know it, you'll be an upselling master! :)

Say congrats to these....

Second Mile Service Champs!

We sent out a message regarding guest perception. Embedded into the message was a chance to win a free Chick-fil-A jacket if you shared a memorable display of second mile service. Here are some of our favorites:

"Last month I served a grandma in the drive through and her granddaughter goes to my school, however I didn’t know of this until her granddaughter came up to me at school. She told me that I made her day in the drive through by talking about her day and complimenting her nails and it was cool how it came around to me while at school." - Wesley D.

"A memorable guest service that I have provided is with one of our customers, Mr. Will, and I didn’t work lunch shifts for awhile and hadn’t seen them so as I brought them there food I was able to talk to them about what school I’m going to and what career I’m pursuing and provide a memorable experience for them in wanting to come back and talk to our employees." - Elias F.

"Complimenting someone’s smile got them to smile even bigger & kept them smiling until they walked away. Another time, a lady had some trouble ordering and made a comment about how she was bummed she as a pregnant lady couldn’t get the customizations to the food she wanted, so I inquired about the gender. She responded that it was two girls and one boy, implying triplets!" - Aidan B.

"Even though I’m not working in front I’ve noticed a few people looking as if they were trying to get someone’s attention. I asked a guest if they needed help and they only wanted ketchup. I gladly gave it to them." - Amanda L.

"An example I had last month was an old man walked in alone and he had a list of specific meals he wanted that his wife wrote down and he told me how much his wife loved the sweet and sriracha sauce and to make sure to put two in the bag when bagging up the order so after bagging up the order I put the sauce he asked for in the bag and added an extra two so whenever I was done I went and gave it to him and he asked, "did you put the sauce in the bag?" I told him I did and that I put in two extra and he told me that I made his day and that his wife would be very happy and asked what my name was for next time it really made my day because he really was appreciative and kind and the fact that he asked me for my name to tell a team leader or manager next time was really nice." - Darcy B.

Thank you all for sharing your stories, and to everyone apart of our team who has stories that go unmentioned! :)
